Ambasador Biblia – Bible museum - Mission – Why are we doing it?
James 2.26. As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
According to statistics ninety people out of a hundred haven't read the Bible, apart from this many share the oppinion, that it is just a story book. Maybe they are right, maybe they are not but it's a fact that in the Bible every answer can be found for every question, because the world changes but the human nature does not. There are many who don't belive in anything but let's not forget: " there are no atheists aboard a crashlanding plane" . There is a certain thing in life:
Birth is a guarantee for death.
As you can see on the homepage we have split up the Biblical teachings into three parts: Old Testament, New Testament and The Teachings of Jesus. We considered this important, in order to be able to interpret it step by step in a XXI-st. century style with our present-day knowledge. The final goal is a set of 450 paintings ( oil, canvas , 78 X 138 cm) of which 150 pieces are finished. Here we would like to ask for the support of painters even through the establishment of an artist camp for the construction of the exhibition hall. Currently 200 m2 of the 700 m2 sized exhibition hall is finished and the concrete job for the remaining 500 m2 is in progress. (Photos of the works ).
Following the instructions of the Bible, the reason we want to establish this slowly and with support and not through a business investor is :
Matthew 9.37. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
According to our statistics, out of 100 people, 90 people did not read the bible, however, many believe that it is just a storybook. The ultimate goal is 450 paintings (oil on canvas, 78 X 138 cm) of which 150 are ready. Here, we would like to ask for the support of painters by organizing a painting camp. Romans 8.31. If God be for us, who can be against us?
