Numbers 13.1.The Lord said to Moses, 2 .‘Send some men to explore the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites. From each ancestral tribe send one of its leaders.’ 3 . So at the Lord’s command Moses sent them out from the Desert of Paran. All of them were leaders of the Israelites.
Numbers 13. 32 . And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, ‘The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. 33 . We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.’
Numbers 14.28 . So tell them, “As surely as I live, declares the Lord, I will do to you the very thing I heard you say: 29. in this wilderness your bodies will fall – every one of you twenty years old or more who was counted in the census and who has grumbled against me.
Numbers 15.32 .While the Israelites were in the wilderness, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day. 33 .Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly, 35 .Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘The man must die. The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp.’ 36 .So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the Lord commanded Moses.
Numbers 16.44 . and the Lord said to Moses, 45 . ‘Get away from this assembly so that I can put an end to them at once.’ And they fell face down. 47. So Aaron did as Moses said, and ran into the midst of the assembly. The plague had already started among the people, but Aaron offered the incense and made atonement for them. 49 . But 14,700 people died from the plague, in addition to those who had died because of Korah.
Numbers 20.2. Now there was no water for the community, and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron. 4 .Why did you bring the Lord’s community into this wilderness, that we and our livestock should die here? 10 .He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, ‘Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?’ 11 . Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank.
Numbers 20.28 . Moses removed Aaron’s garments and put them on his son Eleazar. And Aaron died there on top of the mountain. Then Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain, 29 . and when the whole community learned that Aaron had died, all the Israelites mourned for him thirty days.
